How do I choose my size?

What compression level should I choose?
AKIMS uses a 3-stage compression system:
- Stage 1 — Light Compression — Gentle shaping and smoothing for everyday comfort. Ideal for first-time shapewear users or those seeking a lighter, more comfortable fit.
- Stage 2 — Firm Compression — Very firm support designed for visible sculpting, waist definition, and active recovery. This is our most popular stage and covers the majority of AKIMS styles.
- Stage 3 — Maximum Compression — Our highest level of support, designed for advanced shaping, long-term sculpting, and post-surgical recovery. Recommended for experienced shapewear users.
What is an open-bust bodysuit, and can I wear my own bra?
Yes. Our open-bust styles are designed to be worn with your own bra, giving you full control over fit, lift, and style. This makes them versatile for different necklines and personal preferences.
Wearing & Care
Can I wear shapewear every day?
Our Stage 1 and Stage 2 styles are suitable for comfortable daily wear. For Stage 3 high-compression garments, we recommend following the guidance provided on the product page and wearing them according to your comfort level.
Can I wear shapewear after surgery or childbirth?
Certain AKIMS styles are designed to provide support during postpartum recovery and post-surgical recovery. Always follow your healthcare provider's recommendations and consult the product description to ensure you select the appropriate level of support.
How do I wash my shapewear?
Hand wash in cold water using a mild, gentle detergent. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Avoid machine washing, wringing, or tumble drying to preserve the fabric's compression and shape over time.
Orders & Shipping
How long is shipping?
Standard delivery within Sweden is 2–5 business days. EU orders typically arrive within 7–10 business days. International delivery times may vary and will be shown at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We currently ship within Sweden, throughout the European Union, and to the United States. All applicable shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging. For hygiene reasons, certain intimate items may not be eligible for return.
